Grzegorz Stefański

President of the Management Board

Medical doctor, manager, innovator. He has 25 years of experience in managing pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies. A co-founder of Mabion and a long-term member of the supervisory board. A long-term president of IBSS Kraków, where he developed and implemented innovative medical solutions for the market, including original drugs. The author of eight patents, including international ones. A graduate of the Medical University of Gdańsk and MBA studies – University of Gdańsk/Copenhagen Business School/FHTW Berlin.

Tomasz Kostuch

Member of the Board

A manager with 25 years of experience. He has been a manager at different insurance companies: Warta and Ergo Hestia. He has participated in the implementation of innovative projects and modern technologies. For nearly 10 years he has been involved in strategic consulting and creating financial policies for companies that carry out research and development activities. A graduate of Gdańsk University of Technology (Faculty of Electronics) and the University of Gdańsk (Faculty of Management).

Magdalena Wysocka

Magdalena Wysocka graduated with a master’s degree in 2004, received a PhD in chemistry in 2008 and a post-doctoral degree in 2016. She is currently employed as a Professor at the University of Gdańsk. She is a specialist in the chemistry of peptides, peptidomimetics and proteolytic enzymes. Her scientific output includes several dozen publications from the JCR list cited over 900 times and three patents. She has managed and successfully completed four research projects.

Sławomir Kościak

Investment Advisor and CFA title holder. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics with a specialisation in finance and banking, he also studied at the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark and Universität zu Köln in Germany, and completed the CEMS MIM management programme. Scholarship holder of the Educational Enterprise Foundation. He has over 10 years of experience in asset management. He has worked for, among other organisations, the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg and Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt. In the years 2009–2020 he managed a number of different investment strategies within TFI PZU. The investment spectrum included companies from the WSE as well as those listed on EU and US exchanges. Member of the investment committee, AUM of over PLN 20 billion. Since 2014, in the position of Medical Sector Director, he has been responsible for investments in companies from the healthcare sector.

Małgorzata Stefańska

Graduate of Applied Psychology at the Jagiellonian University. Certified Digital Marketing specialist. Since 2015 she has been associated with online business. She gained experience at the marketing agency Semahead and then at Inprogress, where in 2016–2017 she held the position of Marketing Specialist and since 12/2017 the position of Marketing Manager. She implements training and consulting projects. She specialises in training in social media and in planning and optimising advertising campaigns. Academic lecturer at the University of Applied Computer Science and Management.

Jarosław Biliński

Doctor of medical sciences, academic teacher of the Medical University of Warsaw, graduated in hematology at the Department of Hematology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases at UCK WUM, founder, originator, co-owner and president of the board of the Human Biome Institute – a modern R&D company in the field of biotech (human microbiota) and modern laboratory and human microbiota bank. In 2018-2021, vice-president of the District Medical Council in Warsaw.

 

During his studies in medicine, he was a laureate of many competitions and a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. He graduated in 2013 from the medical faculty with the highest result in the year at the Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He completed his doctoral studies at the Medical University of Warsaw a year ahead of schedule and in 2017 he defended his doctoral dissertation with honors at the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw.

 

Laureate of the prestigious Faculty Award of the 5th Faculty of Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2020, he was elected the “Young Ambassador of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and the winner in the” Golden OTIS “competition in the” scientific debut of the year “category. In his research work, he deals with topics in the fields of hematology, clinical transplantation, immunology, metagenomics, genetics and anticancer response, the intestinal microbiome and its interactions with the host.

 

Author of many full-text publications in prestigious scientific journals, conference summaries and conference reports, including at prestigious international congresses. Leader of research grants, co-investigator in international clinical trials, including the main investigator and co-author of his own prospective clinical trial and the main investigator in an international retrospective study under the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and an innovative clinical trial financed by the Medical Research Agency on treatment COVID19 by Gut Microbiota Transplant.

Karol Gruba

Graduate of the Kashubian-Pomeranian Writers’ Secondary School in Luzino and from the Vocational High School in Reda. He has been associated with the construction industry for several years. Currently employed as a specialist in “Sylwester Pranszke”, a company dealing with high standards of interior design.

Małgorzata Stefańska who is a member of the Supervisory Board remains the wife of Grzegorz Stefański who is the President of the Management Board and the Principal Shareholder.
